Curriculum

Young children learn best by doing. Learning is more than just repeating what someone else says or does. Learning requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in. At Seeds to Seedlings, we hope to provide you with a child care program focusing on guidance and enrichment for children. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners. We allow children to learn at their own pace. We hope to instill good habits and attitudes, and a positive sense of self, which will make a difference throughout their lives.

Lesson plans are developed to include the following:

  • Large and Small Group activities
  • Family Style Meals
  • Outside and Large Motor activities
  • Child Initialed Choices

Children should arrive dressed for play. Having fun involves outdoor play and lots of messy activities, so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. Clothing should be comfortable and seasonally appropriate for outdoor play. Our main goal is to have fun and play provides the foundation for learning.

Parent/guardian conferences will be scheduled twice per calendar year or as necessary. Times will be posted in your child’s classroom.
